But it all really started with my first digital point-and-shoot camera: I was 15 and could finally take as many pictures as I wanted at a low cost. I focussed on nature quite soon, and was especially fascinated by its small details. My interest turned into a fascination, which turned into a passion. I would say, that my interest in nature initially sprang from photography, but by now a balance has established itself between the fascination with nature and the passion for photography.
I spend most of my free time with nature photograhpy, which to me is not necessarily about rare and spectacular subjects, I take much more pleasure in nature’s shapes, lines and colors in the pictures. My work covers a wide range including macro, animal and landscape photography. I always try to find a creative way to portray the subjects, thereby giving each picture my own personal note.
I am 25 years old now, and whenever I am not out taking pictures, I’m pursuing my studies of Business Administration at Saarland University or doing different kinds of sports. I am a full-fledged member of GDT.
